Mary Frances Wright Earp

The photo shows Mary Frances (Wright) Earp (1862-1961), probably taken in the 1920s.

Compare this photo with the other one, which can be dated precisely, and try to guess her age. Mary Frances was born near the Missouri-Iowa line in 1862 and died and was buried in Stroud Oklahoma (Lincoln Co.) in 1961. Compare this photo with the other of her, which is dated 1941. If you are one of her numerous great-grandchildren or their offspring and happen to have the same photo but with a date on the back, please tell us the date!

Earp Family of Lincoln Co. Oklahoma

I'm creating this blog so that the offspring of William Asbury Earp and Mary Frances (Wright) Earp will have a place to get to know each other and to share stories, photos, table scraps, and whatever else you got.

William and Mary Earp had eleven children who lived to adulthood. If each had five grandkids then they had 55 grandchildren, and if that generation had three kids each then she had 155 great grandchildren--and who knows how many in the next generation. There are a lot of us.

And then there are all the people who descend from siblings of William "Will" Earp and Mary Wright. Lots of them too.
